Katelynn Brown is a graduate student studying Childhood Literacy (Birth-Grade 6) at St. Bonaventure University from Long Island, NY. As an undergraduate, she majored in Elementary Education (Early Childhood, Childhood, and Special Education) and received a minor in English. Her research interests include: cell phones and the impact cell phones have on academic performance, memory, and attention. In addition to participating in research, she is the Graduate Adviser of the Bonaventure Education Association and Kappa Delta Phi the Education Honor Society, captain of the St. Bonaventure University Hip Hop Team, and is a graduate assistant. After she graduates with her masters in May 2018, she plans to become an Elementary Education Teacher.
